We’re looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer (£22,000 – £26,000 per annum), as well as a Telecoms Field Engineer (£22,000 – £29,000 per annum) to join our team in our brand new, central Southampton city office. 2nd Line Support Engineer
The 2nd Line Support Engineer roles includes managing the service desk ticket queue, ensuring that customer enquiries are dealt with in line with our SLAs.
2nd Line Support Engineers will be able to diagnose and resolve issues and faults for telecoms hardware and software, broadband etc, as well as escalating support queries to other team members where necessary.
Telecoms Field Engineer
The Telecoms Field Engineer role includes installing telephony systems, programming, and installing routers, WiFi connectivity and CCTV as well as conducting site surveys and project managing installations. This role involves training customers in how to use our products and travelling to customer sites, so a full UK driving license and great communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate for either of these roles need to have experience with both hosted and PBX telephony, preferably with Gamma’s Horizon platform and NEC systems. Both need to have basic networking knowledge and experience dealing with broadband faults, ideally with UniFi and Draytek solutions. All of our engineers need to be able to perform well under pressure and to have a genuine passion for customer service.
